Alcohol and Drug Dependency
Drug addiction and alcoholism are both extremely difficult to withstand in both the physical and the mental sense. Abusing prescriptions drugs or illegal drugs depletes your body and can be emotionally and financially exhaustive. Similarly, alcohol abuse can over time destroy your liver and your mental health. Not only is the individual using the substance affected, but those around him or her—family, spouse, children, friends, coworkers, etc—must endure the painful results and derivatives of the individuals’ drug addiction and/or alcohol abuse. There will come a point when this alcohol and/or drug dependency spins out of control and it is up to both the individual and those who care about him or her to get professional help.
